Winter has arrived in Northern California with leaden skies and soggy rain filled days. The Little Round Table was ready for a change from all the red and green of the past few weeks of holiday celebrations. The last of the leaves have fallen from the trees, so this leaf covered vintage cloth in winter blues seemed most appropriate.
Silver chargers from Tuesday Morning for $1 each a couple years ago.
The Blue Gingham flatware set was an internet find at $11 w/free shipping.
Napkins from Home Goods, 4 for $3.50
Tumblers from Target last year, 4 for $7.99
Sapphire Blue goblets from Pier 1 for $12 last year
Chargers, flatware, tumblers, goblets and napkins = $34.49

Sapphire and White Post 86 Fiesta combined with bowls and plates from
Homer Laughlin's Diner line of dinnerware. Several of the Sapphire items were
not officially produced and are quite rare:
Crystalline glaze carafe was a limited edition charity
auction item about 10 years ago.

ReplyDeleteI'm being a slug this morning..... it's darn COLD here this morning and my guess is that it is headed east for all of you who have been suffering with the cold and snow. 37F here is pretty darn cold! So, I'm curled up by my desktop with the space heater .... thinking of moving to the fluffu pink blanket on the couch pretty soon!
I'm so glad you all enjoyed my little journey into the Winter Blues .... trying to find inspiration for another tablescape for New Year's, but I keep picking daisies and summer florals .... LOL
