I just discovered your blog...came over from My Romantic Home...and what a delight! I am adding you to my bookmarks and will come back and go thru your archives when things settle down. Fascinated with your kitchen as I think you may be the only other one out there who has ceilings as high as mine in their kitchen... wonderful, but quite a decorating challenge and you handled yours beautifully. Nice meeting you and Happy New Year.

Oh my gosh! You. are. talented.
ReplyDeleteWow you have done a lot in a year, this is a great post, love how you linked them! I remember quite a few of the tables, love how the collection looks together. You have a lot of talent.
ReplyDeleteCandy, I have been on a wonderful tour of your blog. I always love seeing your tablescapes, and when I was looking at the review of tables, I knew I'd never seen the French salad plate table, so I had to click on it to see those incredible salad plates. Then, because I was so fascinated by them, I clicked on to read another post about them. They are absolutely wonderful, and I am absolutely coveting them! How lucky you are to have inherited some of them and to have found some on ebay. Then, that got me to wondering about your china storage, so I clicked on those posts too and saw where you store all of this fabulous collection. What a fun post this was. It led me on such an entertaining journey. Thank you so much for linking it to Favorite Things. Hope you have a wonderful 2011 full of china discoveries!! laurie
ReplyDeleteThank you all for your lovely comments and for stopping by during this busy holiday season!
ReplyDelete"What a lot of tablescapes. I can't even imagine having that much time or dishes" It doesn't take a lot of time, I set the table every night for dinner anyway, so I try to make it inviting and colorful. :-) I have all the dishes and this is a great way to actually use them on a daily basis. Taking the pictures only takes a couple of minutes ..... the time consuming part is processing the images and getting them up on the blog, but that is the "hobby" part of it and it is after all what blogging is all about. The sharing is a good part of the joy of it all.

Hi Candy- Stopping back by to ask about the gorgeous ruffled tablecloth in tablescape no. 57- I LOVE it! I picked that table as one of the highlight pictures this week and every time I see your picture on my blog, I love that tablescape and tablecloth even more!!! Do you have a source for it by chance?
ReplyDelete:)
Hi Courtney -
ReplyDeleteThanks for the plug this week!
Do a Google search for: "Pom Pom Ruffled tablecloth".
I got mine about a year ago and this was the cheapest place, but check to see whether they are more widely available for a better price!

Thanks again for the mention!
