Coast-to-Coast Visions of Sugarplums

Today's post for Tablescape Thursday over at Between Naps On The Porch and Alphabe-Thursday at Jenny Matlock is the result of a collaboration among four far flung friends loosely known as the Dish Divas or Tablecloth Fairies, who often bestow unexpected gifts upon their fellow collectors and share a mutual love for Homer Laughlin dinnerware and both contemporary and vintage table linens.

The four fairies bringing you Coast-to-Coast Visions of Sugarplums today are Fairy Daphne from Tabletop Time in the Boston area and Fairy Elaine from lovely Virginia, along with their west coast counterparts Fairy Rebecca from the Pacific Northwest and Fairy Candy @ The Little Round Table from the fringes of the San Francisco Bay Area.

A sugar plum is a piece of dragée candy that is made of dried
fruits and shaped in a small round or oval shape

Rebecca's Merry Christmas from the Pacific Northwest

I'm honored to be joining my west coast tablescape sister for Tablescape Thursday. This holiday table combines a home made candy cane striped tablecloth with contemporary Peppermint and Scarlet Fiesta, mixed with vintage light green plates and bowls, a vintage Medium Green Fiesta disk pitcher and shakers and Fiesta holiday flatware. The frosted Christmas Tree glasses are from an unknown maker. The peppermint swizzle sticks and jingle bell napkin rings are from one of my tablescape sisters on the East Coast joining our celebration today. A glitter ornament tree completes my table for you.

*****************
Today's offering from The Little Round Table also brings you contemporary Peppermint Fiesta, along with the Holly and Ribbon pattern and the new Polka Dots, which is exclusive to HLCCA.  The tablecloth is vintage, candles, shakers, and goblets are Pier 1, apothocary jar, napkins and red tumblers from Home Goods.  The hard to find holiday flatware is by Cambridge and is variously called "Dot Gingham" or Duplex "Happy."

This is an alternate combination of these beautiful Fiesta patterns using the Peppermint luncheon plates with the Holly and Ribbon dinner plates.

Wishing all my fellow Divas and readers the most wonderful of holidays!

The Little Round Table will be decked out with additional holiday tablescapes
for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, so please stop back again!

You are just so wonderful about mixing textures, patterns and colors and making it look perfect!

I am torn between wanting to bow down in admiration for your talents and just copying everything, step by step, so I can wow people, too.

I'm a bit late wishing you a Merry Christmas, so instead I shall be early wishing you a wonderful 2011 filled with treasures and joy!
