It's time again for Tablescape Thursday over at Between Naps On The Porch,
take a chair and get settled with a glass of wine ...... the food is on its way!
Up to the house to bring down the rest of the table things.
This is what started the whole plan ...... saw these at Pier 1 a couple months ago
and flipped for them! Like fairy jewelry or butterflies.
Woven chargers topped with Post 86 Fiesta Pearl Gray dinner plates and White luncheon plates.
Fitz and Floyd salad plates in two styles.
And a Rosenthal berry bowl to top it all off, with vintage napkins and those
gorgeous napkin rings.
Pier 1 stemware.
Some accessories in mini cloches to set the tone.
Vintage Homer Laughlin pieces that were never mass produced.
Candles that kept blowing out in the wind.
The roses are 'Brass Band' from my garden.
Thanks for coming to lunch, I do hope you enjoyed yourself.
You can see more images from my garden over at my garden blog:

What a spectacular setting and lunch. I enjoyed the salmon color!
ReplyDeleteThis is spectacular! I love the color of the Fitz and Floyd plates. It's so neat to hear where your inspiration came from - such cool napkin rings. I think it's interesting what gives us the spark of imagination for the next table. I, like you, set a ton of tables and yet I've never come close to running out of ideas. It is interesting to learn how each of us produces our creations and what sparks it all.
ReplyDeleteI'm hosting a new meme, "Summer Sundays". It's all about what summer means to YOU - like a sea shell speckled tablescape? Hope you'll come and join the fun.
Again, awesome table.

I also fell in love with those napkin rings. I used them last month on a shore themed table.

Candy-love your table. The peachy-salmon-coral is to die for! As usual, you've done a terrific job. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteLovely table! Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely inspiring. I want to have a party at that table. I just found out about tablescape parties and posted my first one today. I could spend all day admiring beautiful tablescapes.
ReplyDeletebeautiful and inviting. I wish i was coming for lunch!
ReplyDeleteThank you all so much for commenting so generously on this week's table! It was fun to put together, but tricky getting the images ..... the wind came up and I had flying napkins and candles blowing out! I have a hard and fast rule (mainly for the grandkids) about no GLASS around the pond. Hmmmmm....guess I broke my own rule, but luckily nothing else. :-)
ReplyDeleteAgain thanks so much for your lovely comments!
Candy
Lovely table Candy. As usual you put everything together so well. I love how all the colors work. I had a terrible time with my outdoor table too. The wind was horrible yesterday afternoon! It blew candlewax all over everything.....
ReplyDeleteWind and candles are NOT a good combo!
ReplyDeleteAnd candle wax is the absolute worst thing to get out of tablecloths.
Thanks for coming by!
Candy
