The Little Round Table - Tablecloth Database

Yesterday I launched a test version of a database for the tablecloths in my collection.
I will be adding additional images and linking to tablescapes that have been posted
here on The Little Round Table since August of 2009.

I'd love to have you visit the new database and tell me what you think of it and
report errors, typos or additional ID information you might like to share.

You can visit the new database by clicking the link at the top of the sidebar
or follow this link:

I look forward to your comments on the database!

Your data base is fantastic! It also makes me feel oh so much better about my obsession, I mean collections.

I found a cloth in your collection that I have, the one with the lobsters on it. This is the link to the post that I did with it last summer:

I know that you really don't want comments on the database page and I can understand why. Do you realize you can turn "comments" off for a given page? You might want to try that.

I'm always looking for great organizing ideas and I find that I have so much that sometimes when I'm shopping I can't remember if I have an item or not. I recently organized my placemats. I really like using a solid placemat as another layer. The round ones work great, but I can never remember what shades of what color I have. I took a photograph of one of every set of placemats I have, I sorted the photographs by color and punched a hole in the top left corner of the photograph. I then put them on a binder ring. Now when I go shopping I have all of my placemats with me! You might want to try it with your tablecloths. It's my goal to do it with everything: dishes, glasses, flatware, tablecloths, napkins, napkin rings, but it will be a LONG time until that happens.

I'd love to have you join my weekly meme "Summer Sundays". It's all about what summer means to YOU.

  6. I've been wanting to do this database for a long time, my memory is NOT what it used to be.I don't tend to purchase the same cloths that I already have, but tend to forget the "details" about the tablecloths. My main interest is using them in tablescapes, not in the maker or history, although that is a secondary level of any collection.

I've added some additional text at the top of the Index page for the database and I do apologize if it appeared I didn't welcome COMMENTS! Comments are always welcome!!

Because the inlinkz application is still open, anyone could add a link .... my fear is that we'll get spam or adult content or other random links mixed in with tablecloths.

If there is interest in sharing your tablecloths, I can always add another "inlinkz" party post. Just let me know! It could be open ended like my database page, so no deadlines or cut off dates would be involved. You could just add tablecloths as the urge strikes!
