Variations On Red Stripes

Susan over at Between Naps On The Porch is hosting another Tablescape Thursday,
my favorite day of the week!

Today's tablescape is all about Red Stripe Fiesta, which has appeared in a couple of
earlier posts here on The Little Round Table. More information on the origin of these
pieces can be found on the following two links:

A mix of vintage Red Stripe Fiesta and contemporary pieces produced for the Homer Laughlin China Collectors Association adorn this vintage tablecloth that looks like it was made to go with this pattern.  The divided relish tray is vintage Manhattan glass, as are the small underplates. The flatware is vintage Deauville, while the tumblers are from Target, napkins from Crate and Barrel, and napkin rings from Bed Bath Beyond. Can you spot the one piece of vintage Red Stripe on the table?

And without changing out much at all you can get a lot of different looks from the
same tablecloth mixing vintage with contemporary pieces.

  16. Thank you all for your glowing remarks on this table!! Those Red Stripe plates are just plain sexy!

Tricia - I think Target still has these. They come in polka dots, stripes, BIG polka dots .... I think they were $7 for 4! Such a deal and they work great with vintage stuff, but are a size that works for our hefty thirsts these days!
