Well, you made me like Cinnabar. It has never been one of my favorite Fiesta colors but you make it look great. That tablecloth is a perfect match.

Beautiful. That creamy yellow just plays so well off the cinnabar and cream! Over the weekend I dug around and tried to set the table all perfectly like you do and I realized several things.
ReplyDeletea) I am not a tablescaper!
b) I don't have any cool dishes or linens
c) Even if I did have cool dishes and linens that (a) is still true.
So that's my sad story .
I shall just worship your creations from afar and not attempt them again!
Thanks for linking.
A+
Thanks so much for all your sweet comments, what a nice way to start my morning!
ReplyDeletePat - The yellow in the flower arrangement is Rosa banksiae 'Lutea'- Lady Banks Yellow rose.

I love the embossed yellow plates, Candy. They remind me of Oven Serve with their soft yellow glaze. Gorgeous centerpiece flowers!
ReplyDeleteCandy! I'm in love with your table setting. Everything you put together is just fabulous! Love all the C's too. Happy Tablescape Thursday and Letter C to you!!
ReplyDeleteJust looking at your table makes me smile. Not only is it terrific but so are the pieces in the background. Everything here spells comfort.
ReplyDeleteI side with Jenny,
ReplyDeletebut love your table sets.
Happy Mother's Day.
I love looking at your table every week! You have so many beautiful dishes! I have only one inexpensive set and it has a multitude of chipped plates. Jenny said it best:
ReplyDeletea) I am not a tablescaper!
b) I don't have any cool dishes or linens
c) Even if I did have cool dishes and linens that (a) is still true.
Love the yellow Candy. I think it's one of my favorite colors.~Ames
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty table! Love the square yellow plates.
ReplyDeleteYou are all very sweet and I do appreciate your comments. But, I disagree with you about NOT being tablescapers. Just set your table and then start layering it with other pretty things. Shop your house for things of like colors or that fit a theme you are trying to present. Go for it!
