I'm joining Marty's Tabletop Tuesday over at A Stroll Through Life
A reader recently suggested that I needed a lemon tree in my kitchen to go with all my brightly colored tablescapes, but since I have one growing right outside my kitchen window I think I'll stick with it. Here are some freshly picked lemons and above you can see the tree in the early morning fog.
This vintage Startex plaid tablecloth helps to brighten the kitchen on
this dreary morning. Vintage and contemporary items are combined to
compliment this unusual mix of colors.
Square chargers are from marylandchina.com
Vintage Wells Art Glaze Peach dinner plates.
Vintage Fiesta Yellow luncheon plates.
Vintage Fiesta Red salad plate.
Contemporary Fiesta White Berry Bowl
Vintage Metlox Spiral candle holders
Vintage Homer Laughlin Oven Serve mixing bowls with platinum trim
Napkins, pitcher, tea things from Home Goods
Goblets and candles from Pier 1
Tumblers from Cost Plus
Flatware from the web
Tea Cups are Rosenthal "Medallion"
Thanks so much for coming by for another tablescape from
The Little Round Table!
Oh my, as usual, I love it all. Your colors are just fabulous and I always love the combination of dishes that you put together. I love, love, love the square chargers, they are just exceptional. Your two pitchers are fantastic also. Of course you know that I drool over that rooster and every vignette that you display on your island. So pretty. Thanks so much for joining TTT. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteI don't know where to begin, Candy ~ The colors you have put together are so warm, rich & festive. I love the dishes, accents & the rooster ... bus oh, that picture of the lemon tree thru the window is awesome ... Lovely!

This looks like spring!
ReplyDeleteI visit your blog often, and each time I am amazement at the beautiful vignettes and table-settings you put together. Your collection of dishes are unbelievable. Thank you so much for sharing with those of us who are "challenged" when it comes to putting a beautiful table together. Hugs, Karie
ReplyDeleteHi Candy.
ReplyDeleteI was waiting to see what you'd do with the WAG, and this is a super unexpected combination. The peach glaze looks great with the spiral candle holders. I love the lemons in the fog!
Hi Candy! Oh, what a wonderful table! I love these soft colors and those candlesticks are so unusual! Your glassware is outstanding and I love your pretty white pieces tossed in.
ReplyDeleteI have a lemon tree too and have been enjoying them during our little wintry months!!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Just beautiful. You never disappoint.
ReplyDeleteThe shell muffin plate is one of my favourite pieces in your collection. This whole setting is lovely, as is your lemon tree in the fog.
ReplyDeleteI love the color combination and the Ovenserve bowls. I told a friend about your blog and she is "addicted" to it. You inspired her to fix up her dining room. Great table as always.
ReplyDeleteThank you all for stopping in for this foggy day post! Fog may sound like a bad thing, but in reality it means warmer temps here in Northern California. The morning fog is making photo shoots a little more challenging, but also makes for a cozy feel in the kitchen.
ReplyDeleteI'm so pleased you all enjoyed my little adventure with these citrus colors .... loving my new Peach WAG plates from a fellow collector.
Candy

ReplyDeleteHi Candy,
ReplyDeleteI love fresh lemons and lemon trees, too. That looks for me like in the paradise. And your table is again just gorgeous. Amazing, how many nice shapes of plates and dishes exist.
Greetings, Johanna
