Mr. TLRT found the key to my heart 47+ years ago, so here is a Valentine
tablescape with a key to unlock the romance in your life. Color and keys swimming
in a sea of hearts.  I'm sure one of the keys will fit perfectly with the one you love.

Starting the process .......
waiting for the sun from the clearstory windows to move away from the table .

This is a contemporary tablecloth purchased at Home Goods for about $10, along with the
napkins for about $5.  Made In China chargers, Post 86 Fiesta Scarlet dinner plates and the decorative salad plates also came from Home Goods during the Christmas season. The wine glasses are vintage.  The glass vase is a contemporary piece modelled after the vintage line of glassware called "Manhattan."  The vintage Manhattan relish tray can be seen in these two tablescapes .  These were items offered in the Park Avenue line of glassware:

There will be five additional Valentines' Day tablescapes here on
The Little Round Table in the next week or so.  Please check back to see them all!

Another idea for a Valentine tablescape is an older post that is very PINK. Girly Girly Pink

Just love my little Heart salad plates ..... I walked by them a couple of times during the Christmas holidays at Home Goods. It was hard to focus on Valentines' Day at that point, but I kept thinking how cute they were and that I kick myself come about right now, if I didn't just grab them while they were hot! I love HG....$12 for 4 cute plates!!

  32. Hi Candy...

Such a pretty Valentine's table, my friend! I love the heart salad plates! And ohhh...those pretty charger plates with the pretty black and white polka dot ribbon! I also like how you added a pretty key to each place setting...that's a GRAND idea! I was trying to figure out what type of a vase you used for your centerpiece? In the first few photos...it looked like clear glass...but later on the vase looked like mercury glass to me? I'm curious! Love the pretty red feathers that you added to the candle! Thank you so much for sharing this pretty Valentine table with us for the Sunday Favorites repost party this week...always such a treat!

    Have a super Sunday!

  34. Hello there sweet Candy!

My I love this Valentines tablescape!.., Wow!

All of your well thought out details from the feather boa, to the chargers, the heart shaped plates, the darling polka dot ribbons, the keys, and the candle with the mercury glass centrepiece.., Fabulous!

~(I have been blogging in earnest once again and been trying to catch up with all of my visits..,I also wanted to and had meant to thank you for joining up with 'Tuesday Tea For Two' a couple weeks ago)!

..,(I recall being called away and distracted,I had meant to get by and thanks you properly by leaving a comment.., Although I did visit and as always the vignette was a dreamscape; once again thanks and my apologies for not getting back when called away)!

    Have a marvelous week!

Cheers and hugs from Wanda Lee

  35. Thank you all for joining me for this Sunday Favorites repost of one of the 2010 Valentine tables! I do appreciate all your generous comments. :-)

Chari - I think what you are seeing is a trick of the camera and reflections. The glass vase has ribbed rings and it is filled with clear glass marbles. Just some magic going on with how the camera played with the light! :-)
