Vintage Red Fiesta
Although it appears to be a vibrant "orange", this is the iconic vintage RED Fiesta dinnerware in some of my favorite shapes. Only one of these shapes was reproduced in contemporary Fiesta beginning in 1986 and was produced for a number of years before being discontinued. Can you pick out that piece?
You can visit the Vintage Fiesta Database to read more about these items.

Covered Casserole

What a rich and vibrate color your Fiesta wear is. I have seen a lot of it, but not the piece in your top photo.
ReplyDeleteAlways love the sweets compotes! Sweets seem to be a theme with me:@)
ReplyDeleteGreat collection! I am going to guess the casserole was briefly re-introduced. thanks for the link for more info! Faythe @ GMT

I have a question..I thought larder and pantry were one in the same. Is this not right?
ReplyDeleteI noticed on another blog using quote from B.Potter that mentioned both a larder and pantry.
Thanks, sweetie..

ReplyDeleteI just spotlighted your pretty mirror on my recent post. :)))

Fiesta red has always been one of my favorites because I'm a bit partial to orange!!Lovely photos. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I have started collecting vintage Bauer pottery, which is similar to fiesta ware. Such simple yet sweet designs. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThat demitasse cup/sauce was reintroduced in the early Post86 Fiesta colors! And there was a new version of the casserole, but minus those beautiful deco handles.
ReplyDeleteLOL bj - you do need to get your hubby to build you a mirror!
Thanks so much to all of you for dropping by!
