St Patrick's Day Refreshments

ABC Wednesday - "I" is for Irish

I know you must all be parched from travelling all over Blogland visiting everyone participating in Kathleen's Blog Crawl, so I thought I 'd offer up some liquid refreshments and a chance to take a bit of a break.  Please feel free to help yourself and stop back again later in the day for another recharge!

The table covering was crocheted by my maternal grandmother
and is actually a bedspread.

We have Champagne Punch served in a vintage Homer Laughlin punch bowl.

Coffee or tea ... if you have never tasted coffee with a shot of Crème de menthe .... do try it!

Vintage pewter tea service.

Vintage Haviland

From a set of vintage silver forks, this one has a gondola on it.

Cabbage plates, perfect for St Patrick's Day, from Home Goods

Vintage Home Laughlin covered muffin plate.

Cut glasses were my mother-in-law's

Punch Bowl back stamp
Reverse side of bowl

Vintage Homer Laughlin Ivory Fiesta Mugs for Irish Coffee

Perhaps a bit of Guiness would hit the spot for you?

Vintage Belleek creamer and sugar

I'm so pleased you could drop by during your travels around the St Patrick's Day celebrations!

  6. Your bedspread is amazing. It must have taken your grandmother a very long time to crochet that--I think it was pieced. Please do not let any of us visitors spill on it! The punch bowl is also fabulous. And I did not know that the covered dish was a muffin dish. I always think of butter when I see the covers--don't know why. Beautiful table--I'll be back for refreshments later-irish coffee or a Guinness! Linda
