Sparkly Dangly Vintage Thingies

Welcome again to Vintage Thingies Thursday hosted by

Rather than have these pieces floating around in various jewelry
boxes, I've chosen to let them out into the light to be appreciated.  Most of
these pieces came to me from my grandmothers, mother, mother in-law and
bring back memories of how and when they wore their treasures.
I find myself touching this or that as I pass by.......

  11. That's such a great idea to have all of those lovely pieces out in the open, to enjoy every day, instead of having them packed away. I LOVE that rooster pin! Oh my goodness! And that shoe at the very top is such a striking part of the whole display. LOVE IT!!
    Happy VTT!

  12. That was back in the days when detail was important.

Nowadays stuff is stamped out of a stamping mill in a back alley in a third world county somewhere and you don't want to look too close.

Some great pieces, and amazing close-p pics of them.

  21. Thank you all for stopping by to see some of my pretties! I'm glad you enjoyed them.

As far as the stand goes.....it was on the clearance table at Home Goods for a very few $$. Silver spray paint is such an easy fix. :-)
