Easter With The Napkin Lady

Wishing you all a very Happy Easter, details on today's table at the end of the post.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and Happy Easter!

Vintage California Hand Prints tablecloth and napkins
Lillian Vernon Figural Napkin Holder 1980s
Fitz and Floyd "Moon Flower" salad plates
Green napkins - Home Goods
Napkin rings - Pier 1
Topiaries - Michael's
Flatware - vintage "Deauville"

China - Johann Haviland, the grandson of David Haviland, started his own company in Bavaria, Germany in 1907 and went out of business by 1924. An Italian firm bought the company and in 1933 sold it to the Rosenthal conglomerate. Quantities of this inexpensive china were sold at PX’s in Germany after WW 2. Several patterns were used as grocery store premiums. The company has no connection with the French or American china.
This is pattern 60424 Johann Haviland

The first roses of this season are the yellow climber 'Golden Showers'

  14. Hi Candy, Your table is beautiful. I love this cloth. Do you really serve meals on your beautiful cloths. I seem to have difficulty getting mine clean if food is spilled on it. Maybe I need a new washer. Thanks for sharing.

  16. Gorgeous. I always love to see your beautiful tablescapes, they are always stunning. The lady napkin holder, the egg topiaries and of course your fabulous china, crystal and linens are always combined so beautifully. The huge cloche in the back took my breath away also. Thanks so much for joining TTT. Hugs, Marty

  17. Thanks so much everyone for stopping by to see this little napkin lady. :-) Just catching up around here from the flurry of activities over the holiday and hoping you are all having a wonderful week.

Ahrisha, yes we do serve meals on these tablecloths. The secret is to treat them as soon as possible after any accidents. MOST cloths are perfectly safe in a nice hot soaking bath of Oxyclean, which will remove almost all stains. Wax is trickier, but food stains seem to all disappear with just a quick treatment. As with any product that is new to you, test for color fastness and don't treat a cloth with metallic paint or threads.
