'Altissimo' climber coming on strong,
Soon to look like this.
And I've finally given up on carrying around the HUGE and HEAVY
gas powered weed wacker. Going back to an old light weight friend
with a power cord rather than yanking on something I can never ever start.
My new best friend in the garden.
Look out weeds, here I come!
Thanks for stopping by!
I'm joining:
Looks like you are ready for some serious weed control. ;-)

I am like you, pulling cords is not for me. I had to get a mower that I just run the key. And, an electric chain saw. Anything with a battery is too heavy.
ReplyDeleteA weed whacker. We have no weeds...yet, for this year!
ReplyDeleteI can't pull a cord, so perhaps this is for me too - at least the weeds would get whacked!
ReplyDeleteI agree, I like the lightweight electric trimmers too. Great pics !

Those electric weed whackers are so much lighter. Love the Altissimo- just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI so agree! While the cords can be a pain, electric is lighter and much easier on the shoulders:@)
ReplyDeleteEvery time I click onto your post ~ your photos make me smile ~ so beautiful. I agree, I turned the gas model over to hubby and got myself the lighter weight power whacker. LOVE your blog. Enjoy those amazing gardens ~ will be a fews months yet for us in the north. ~ Blessings
ReplyDeleteI just love how vibrant and clear your pictures are...just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI don't believe I've ever heard of this flowering vine....Its lovely...I'm seeing new blooms all over blogland.

Am so happy to learn about the new Black and Decker. Those gas powered things are killers for arthritic older women. I need to look for one like yours. Your flowers vine is new to me...I think Spring is poking out her head. I surely hope so . i am so tired of Winter.
ReplyDeleteThank you all for your sweet comments! Love my new weed whacker! Got it at Home Depot, but they carry it most everywhere.
ReplyDelete'Altisimmo' - is a large flowered modern climbing rose

That's the one we have...I tried the rechargeable battery type...but that was heavy too...I like the light weight too. I use mine for trimming the edges of the lawn. Your Altisimmo will be so pretty in a bit!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Linda .... waiting for Spring as it has turned darned cold here again. sigh
