I loved the bag of Chicken Manure! That was great!
ReplyDeleteOhhhhh, I MISS a sweet winter on the coast. I used to live on each at different times and recognized several of the plants from my somewhat distant past. What lovely memories. I'll have to show my senior mom - she is definitely in the gardening mood as well! Thank you :)
ReplyDeleteSpring is here! Lovely garden and pond with fish.

This is an awesome post filled with fabulous photos. I love the fish and the red aloe plant. Bud and I have NEVER seen one...did not even know they existed. We have learned something tonight. The chicken manure takes the prize as the cleverest yet. Happy Rednesday.
ReplyDeleteCandy, your garden photos are pulling at my heart strings. I look out and see crispy brown or mushy green. I've so much clean up work to do after this last bout of freezing temps here. My beautiful ginger is completely beaten down.
ReplyDeleteSpring can't come too soon for me. I'm looking forward to some of what you have shown today. ;-) Such beauty at your abode!!!

This had me wishing for daylight so that I could check our gunnera!
ReplyDeleteLove all those signs of spring!! It is also so nice to wake up to birds singing again.:o)

Ahhh, signs of spring. Love it! We use chicken compost here too and it's made just down the road. Great stuff! Pam
ReplyDeleteWhat a great graphic on the manure bag. Thanks for the reminder that warmer days are coming. I love how the days are long enough that it's still light when I get home each evening.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you will soon have a lovely Spring yard! I love this time of year when everything starts to wake up!!
ReplyDeleteYour garden is so fabulous! I am really looking forward to Spring around here. Hope you will post photos of pomegranates in progress during the year.

Signs of Spring....wonderful, warmer weather... I especially love your lemon tree! And several of my hubby's family have beautiful Koi ponds...I've not heard them called "pond puppies" :o) That is too cute, they certainly are like puppies waiting to be fed :o)
ReplyDeleteBlessings & Aloha!
Beautiful photography! I'm visiting over from alphabe-thursday link party.
ReplyDeleteYour garden must be an amazing place to walk.
ReplyDeleteGreat pics, should be up to 68 on Friday, can't wait:@)
ReplyDeleteSweet S post. We're still buried under too many feet of snow to measure. This was good for my soul.
ReplyDeleteNice to see all those signs of spring.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait...We are months away though...
ReplyDeletesupposed to get over a foot of new snow tonight...
sigh.
Will you share just a little bit of your Spring with me?? It will be April before I am in the garden! Your photos are so lovely and make me "green" with envy!
ReplyDeleteWow! Spring! Lucky you! We just had snow a couple days ago so I'm guessing spring won't be for another few weeks. Looking at your photos make me anticipate it though!
ReplyDeleteAccckkk!!!! And you're a gardener too?
ReplyDeleteGeez.
OK, is there anything you're not amazing at?
I worked in the garden yesterday for a little over two hours with my oldest Grand and it was magical. We planted potatoes and eggplant and thinned poppies and larkspur. We ate carrots pulled from the compost-enriched soil and fought the dog for fresh asparagus!
This glorious post made me think of that again and smile!
Thanks for a special link!
A+
I'm so pleased you all are hoping for Spring just like I am! I think the reason I bought that brand of chicken manure was because of those too cute RED chickens! LOL Some marketing genius knew what they were doing .....
ReplyDeleteCandy
Lovely garden shots. Yes, yes! I wish for SPRING!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes, again,
Anna

With the morning temps back to the upper 30sF, it's a little harder to envision Spring, but I'm still pulling for a glorious season coming soon.
