'Altissimo' and A New Power Tool

'Altissimo' climber coming on strong,
Soon to look like this.

And I've finally given up on carrying around the HUGE and HEAVY
gas powered weed wacker.  Going back to an old light weight friend
with a power cord rather than yanking on something I can never ever start.

My new best friend in the garden.

Look out weeds, here I come!

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Looks like you are ready for some serious weed control. ;-)

  2. I am like you, pulling cords is not for me. I had to get a mower that I just run the key. And, an electric chain saw. Anything with a battery is too heavy.

  4. I can't pull a cord, so perhaps this is for me too - at least the weeds would get whacked!

  7. I so agree! While the cords can be a pain, electric is lighter and much easier on the shoulders:@)

  11. Am so happy to learn about the new Black and Decker. Those gas powered things are killers for arthritic older women. I need to look for one like yours. Your flowers vine is new to me...I think Spring is poking out her head. I surely hope so . i am so tired of Winter.

  13. That's the one we have...I tried the rechargeable battery type...but that was heavy too...I like the light weight too. I use mine for trimming the edges of the lawn. Your Altisimmo will be so pretty in a bit!
