Just A Hint of Blue - A Country Breakfast

Just a hint of blue this week.
The blue is very subtle, but essential to pulling the design of the vintage tablecloth together.
Be sure to stop by Smiling Sally for more BLUE Monday
and

This vintage tablecloth is great for a country breakfast, with roses from my garden
on a bright Spring morning with the warmth of the sun already flowing in through open doors.

Post 86 Fiesta in Scarlet, Sunflower and Shamrock.
Glassware is from Pfaltzgraff, vintage American Directoire sterling.

Layered setting includes dinner, luncheon, and salad plates with the berry bowl on top.
Ring handled mugs and contemporary Fiesta juice glasses.

The iconic Fiesta disc pitcher in Shamrock. (In the background of the full table you
can see the recently released exclusive Red Stripe disc pitcher from HLCCA.)

The vase is vintage Fiesta, with roses from my garden.
The single red is 'Altissimo' a climber and the yellow hybrid tea rose is 'Henry Fonda'.

The yellow marmalade is vintage, while the contemporary Scarlet shaker is from the
"pasta set." It is great for cinnamon sugar for sprinkling on toast, pancakes or waffles.

  1. How bright and cheerful. I especially love the rooster napkin rings. Your fiesta ware is gorgeous. I think I would collect every kind of dish they were if I had room to store them.

  25. Stopping by from Mosaic Monday!
My first thought was - WOW! that is a huge amount of color!

I love pfaltzgraff - I have the sedona pattern myself. Just curious - for all you who do this tablescaping photography - are these all your own dishes? How do you post such a variety? Just curious

The mosaic is almost like the table cloth with so much color.
I remember my moms - table cloths looking like that!
