Saturday Rerun: The Brimfield Birdie and The Little Round Table

On some weekends I'll be reposting some tablescapes from this past summer. Hopefully more visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy them on this second time around.

This is the tale of The Brimfield Birdie and The Little Round Table.  A fellow collector attended the last Brimfield show of the year mid-week and spotted this Metlox Poppytrail Console Set, but without cell phone coverage she couldn't contact me until she returned home.  Lots of back and forth and it was still in the dealer's booth when she returned to Brimfield on Saturday.  Yippee!!  It is just lovely and in fine condition.

Dish Friends Are the Best!
Vintage tablecloth with matching napkins shown with Vintage Turquoise fruit bowls, Post 86 Ivory and Yellow, Deauville flatware, vintage Homer Laughlin pitcher, and contemporary glassware from Macy's.

The roses are the Hybrid Tea 'Dainty Bess'

  2. How absolutely lovely. I have never seen candlesticks like those and if I ever do - guess what - they shall be mine!

    The roses are exquisite.

    Have a wonderful weekend.

  4. Thanks all! Just love this look of Spring, which surely will be here soon ..... we have monsoon rains again this week, so you East Coasters will probably be seeing additional snow.
