Not "true" silver, but a very nice pewter tea set nonetheless.
It belonged to my in-laws who were married during the Great Depression
and this was a nice substitution for a "real" silver tea set.
The tray is quite warped ....... I think it ended up in my
father-in-law's workshop after Ida passed.

This is a lovely set. I love pewter. I just can't start collecting another thing!! So glad you got this set and the F is so pretty!

ReplyDeleteI have more of my in-laws pewter in storage.....must get it out and display it again soon. It's like Christmas all over again, when I pull things out that have been put away for a few years.
