If you visited my post for Outdoor Wednesday this week, you saw the first images
of the new Finch feeder I installed a few days ago.
The Garden Network Alert is apparently working extremely well!
Notice how saggy the feeder sock has become in just a few days.
Taken through the kitchen windows.
Lucky you, what a view!
ReplyDeleteI'd pay money to have that scene at one of our feeders! Awesome!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely summer's eve ~

Gotta go to the feed store tomorrow and buy a BIG bag of Nijer seed ...... they are now coming by in droves and forming a lineup in the trees waiting for a turn at the buffet! Fewer birds can now hang on at one time, since they've eaten the seed down to the half-way mark in 3 days!!

Awesome feed bag!! I'm a newbee - are they hard to find?
ReplyDeleteWow, Candy, I have never seen so many birds at a feeder at one time. That first photo is phenomenal with the bird in mid air, to the right. Love that picture. What a fun thing to look out your window and see!

These little guys are a constant source of entertainment!
ReplyDeleteJourney, any pet store or feed store will have them.
Nancy, I too love the little guy in mid-flight! It was like he put his breaks on just for this shot. :-)

Wow, Candy, what a terrific amount of finches. I have to get my thistle sack back up this week. Thanks for the reminder! Fantastic shot of the one in mid flight.
