The Finch Buffet is OPEN!

If you visited my post for Outdoor Wednesday this week, you saw the first images
of the new Finch feeder I installed a few days ago.

The Garden Network Alert is apparently working extremely well!
Notice how saggy the feeder sock has become in just a few days.
Taken through the kitchen windows.

  1. I'd pay money to have that scene at one of our feeders! Awesome!

  2. Gotta go to the feed store tomorrow and buy a BIG bag of Nijer seed ...... they are now coming by in droves and forming a lineup in the trees waiting for a turn at the buffet! Fewer birds can now hang on at one time, since they've eaten the seed down to the half-way mark in 3 days!!

  4. Wow, Candy, I have never seen so many birds at a feeder at one time. That first photo is phenomenal with the bird in mid air, to the right. Love that picture. What a fun thing to look out your window and see!

  5. These little guys are a constant source of entertainment!

Journey, any pet store or feed store will have them.

Nancy, I too love the little guy in mid-flight! It was like he put his breaks on just for this shot. :-)
