  2. What interesting color combinations, Candy! My DD has all the Fiesta ware, too & I love the variety she can create with it.
You did a great job on your TT!

I have or HAD that same bronze deer...I sure hope I didn't give him away, because he looks great as part of your centerpiece. Gotta go look for him right now!

  23. Thanks to everyone for the glowing review of this very unusual "fall" tablescape! Especially thank Susan at BNOTP our hostess for Tablescape Thursday for stopping by. :-)

That "bird's eye view" was really only one step up on a step stool .... I have a real issue in this house with lighting, so by giving the camera the tablecloth to use as the main focus I was able to make it look a little lighter.

Rettabug - that pair of little brass deer have been with me forever!

Most of the credit for this table must go to Vera for her incredible art work, she is one of a kind. Some of her original artwork has been incorporated into new table linens which are available at Macy's.

Lori - I wish I had bought more of those big fat candles on the buffet. Believe it or not they came from Safeway about 10 years ago!

Have a great morning everyone, I need to step away from the computer and go buy some paint to redo an iron day bed, due for my grand daughter's BD in about 10 days!!

  26. Morning!

Oh Joyce, you lucky girl to have your own vintage Vera!

berrygirl - I agree, a little punch of color can change the whole feeling of fall!

  28. It is a nice change from the traditional Fall colors. We have a hard time here in Northern California getting into the whole Fall thing. It usually goes from Summer to Winter Wet, without stopping for the beautiful hues of Fall.
