On this Tablescape Thursday, with just two days until the spookiest night of the year, the guests will shiver as they dine in the company of some pretty scary surroundings across blogland. Join all the diners and uninvited guests over at Between Naps On The Porch for Tablescape Thursday.
It's a spooky Halloween table where the spiders have been busy weaving their webs. Post 86 Fiesta in Black, White and Persimmon. Cityscape flatware, silver chargers are from Tuesday Morning, glassware from Home Goods.
I love every spooky little bit of it!

oooooh! Lots of spirit at your house. So spookily cute!
ReplyDeleteWOW, those spiders have been busy! Great touch with all those webs everywhere! Did your black raven get a "hot bum"? I did the same thing with my tablescape this week (put my raven over a lit pillar candle) and my raven started "smoking", what a smell! Hope it didn't happen to you...your 'scape is too nice!

HI Candy wow what a darling TST very festive for Halloween. I didn't have any Halloween TS stuff for this year, maybe next year. Loved my visit. Have a wonderful evening.
ReplyDeleteLove the Fiesta pumpkins. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteI've got that old song "Spooky" running through my head! Cute, cute, and cute tablescape! You've absolutely thought of everything here.

Thanks everyone! Be sure to check out another Halloween tablescape for Foodie Friday over on Designs by Gollum, coming up this evening/tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteMarsha - the "bubbling brew" is just the spider webbing not pulled apart into long strands! I used to have one of those mist/fog makers, but they spew and dribble all over the place over time, so I resorted to this method.
The Jack-O-Lantern Fiesta is probably 10 years old, done on Persimmon which is now a discontinued color, but Homer Laughlin has brought back this "Happy Pumpkin" decal on the newer Tangerine color. You can find them on the HLC website www.hlchina.com then click on The Outlet link at the top right hand corner. Or just check ebay in the Contemporary Fiesta category and you'll come up with lots of pieces of the older Persimmon version with this decal.
"Smoking Birds" - Oh yes, Dining Delight, there should be a disclaimer posted on this tablescape. DO BE CAREFUL with all those spider webs, I had a fire extingquisher handy in case I made a really spooky scene come alive! And midway through my mad dash to take the pictures before I caught the house on fire, the crow literally jumped off the lantern onto the tabletop!! Fell head first with his poor little feet having partially melted onto the top of the lantern! Yes, birds were harmed in producing this film!! So now he's just a little more flat footed than he was when this tablescape began, LOL
Very cool table. I love the little pumpkin candles!
ReplyDeleteI'm really enjoying this Halloween celebration. The party is on hold at my house due to renovations, so the Little Round Table is especially appreciated this week!
ReplyDeleteVery cool. Like all of your Jack-o-lantern dishes. Like the candle in the middle too!
ReplyDeleteWOW! What a table! You've thought of everything...the caldron is especially clever with its "steam" filling. Very well done!

What fun! You've included so many exciting "ingredients." I like the way you blended earthy, scary, whimsical, vintage, and sophisticated ingredients to create a unique tablescape.
ReplyDeleteHappy Halloween!
Bill
Thanks again to all of you who have taken to comment on my bit of Halloween whimsy.
ReplyDeleteA tip about this spider web stuff, don't use it if you don't want it everywhere! And feather dusters don't take care of it ...... it reminds me of the faux Easter grass or needles from a Christmas tree. I think it will most likely become a part of my holiday decor for many seasons to come, just by default. :-)

ReplyDeleteI hope you are taking lots of pictures of the kitchen remodel!
what a fun tablescape. You are so creative thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHave a Blessed Weekend,
Sherry
Thanks Sherry, take care tonight and watch out for those spooky creatures!
ReplyDeleteThis is the first time I have ever posted on your board. I adore your tablecloths. And those candlestick holders. I can't remember what you called them, but they are devine! Thank you for taking the time to share your tables every week.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Jeanette!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by to see the tablescapes. Those candleholders are from Mexico and they are pewter. I think I paid about $10US for them on one of our many trips south of the border.
Stop by anytime, I pretty much have a tablescape each and every day, so become a follower or bookmark The Little Round Table to see each day's offering.
