It's not really FALL here in Northern California, so I'm sticking with other 'scapes until I feel more like Fall in a couple of weeks!
This vintage tablecloth is by Simtex and is called "Pussy Willow." It is so bright and cheery, I may have to forget that "I'm not really a PINK person." White, Rose, and Shamrock Post 86 Fiesta with individual Harlequin vintage creamers. The candle holders are from Crate & Barrel probably 20 years ago, flatware from Macy's, glassware from Pier 1, vintage Rosenthal vase, individual china flowers are German c. 1950, the bouquet of china flowers is English "Queens Floral", and the footed compote is Schwarzenhammer Bavaria c.1950. The roses are from my garden.
To me, this is a perfect tablescape. I love the fiesta pink, the vintage tablecloth, the flowers. It is just a happy festive table.

Wow...that is PINK! I love it! So 50's looking!! Happy TT!
ReplyDeleteVery "pretty in pink"! The green looks good with it and those little blue jugs at each placesetting add another vibrant note! Nice to shake things up a bit and see a non-fall table!

ReplyDeleteHello...
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty pink table!!! Your beautiful vintage tablecloth caught my eye first...it's so pretty! Love your place settings...love the different cheery colors! This tablescape is just so warm and cheerful and fun! And I like that!!!
I certainly can't blame you for not wanting to dive into the autumn scene yet. It's difficult to think autumn when the temps are still so warm! Saying that from experience...I lived in south Texas for about 30 yrs...we kind of went right from summer into winter! No fall season there...kind of hard to celebrate! Hehe!
Thank you for sharing your beautiful table with us today...
Warmest wishes,
Chari
Love all the vintage, the table cloth is wonderful and the napkins are so pretty...thanks for sharing, also love the flowers, pretty pretty.....
ReplyDeleteBeautiful vintage table. Your roses are sooo pretty. I love your napkins and dishes. Love it.
ReplyDeleteI love your table. The linens are to die for! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteVery nice! Looked at some of your older posts and I've decided you love roses! Funny story about rose bushes ... we had an inland hurricane in southern Illinois in May and it took part of my front porch away. So, we built a new porch and expanded the size. I had an old rose bush that was in a bad location and never bloomed. I transplanted everything to a new location ... but not that bush. I just cut it to the ground. Believe it or not ... it has grown back, through the slats in the porch floor. It will probably start blooming now!
ReplyDeleteHope you'll stop by to visit me.
I adore that tablecloth and napkins! Lovely tablescape in creamy colors!

I thank you for loving this very pink table! For someone who thought she wasn't a pink person, I was surprised to see at least one other very pink tablescape coming up in my stash of tables I have ready to post! Who knew???
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool tablescape! Love the pink & the candleholders.
ReplyDeleteThanks tardevil, more pink posted today on the blog! For someone who claims she doesn't "do pink" there sure is a lot of it. I think it is driven by the fact that many of these vintage tablecloths were pink, pastel blue, and flowery!
