Tropical Yucca for Squares - Susan's Tablescape Thursday

I am so happy to be participating in Susan's Tablescape Thursday, check out all the participants over at Between Naps On The Porch and join the fun.

Scarlet and Sunflower Square Post 86 Fiesta, with Shamrock salad plates on a vintage tablecloth and an arrangement from the garden.  Cityscape flatware, vintage glassware.

Lobelia cardinalis 'Queen Victoria' are the red, with Tanacetum vulgare - Curly Tansy, Yucca gloriosa - Spanish Dagger, and Polystichum minutum - Western Sword Fern.

Change of glassware to contemporary from Home Goods, but I ended up going with the vintage afterall.

  2. Evening Julie -

Some I've had for years, some come from fellow collectors and of course there are some found in antique "junk" stores. Many have also come from eBay.

I have some green depression glass very similar to yours but I never thought to punch it up with such color! "BAM"...said in my best Emeril Lagasse voice. :)

  14. Wow, I love this. What a perfect combination of color. EVerything ties so well together. I am jealous of your abilities! IS that really a REAL retro tablecloth? The colors look to non-warn to be an old one....well....my retro tablecloth I showed in one of my posts is still vibrant too--guess they made them well.
