Cloche Encounters of the Mini Kind

Jump over to Susan's weekly party and join the fun.

This vintage linen tablecloth is decked out with Tangerine, Chartreuse and Quatra
(with the multi-color rings, you'll also see this decoration spelled as Quatro and Quattra) Post86 Fiesta. The flowered pitcher looks like it was made for this setting and came from Crate and Barrel about 20 years ago.  Glassware is from Target, napkin rings from Pier 1 last winter, napkins from Home Goods.  The rosewood handled flatware is Dansk from the early 60s. The roses are 'Brass Band' from my garden.

The two mini cloches came from Tuesday Morning.  One holds a stack of Harlequin and Marutomo (made in Japan) nut dishes, while the other holds two tiny salesman sample demitasse cups
made by Home Laughlin China in Suntone.

Thanks for coming by to see my latest tablescape, I do appreciate it.
If you follow the "This Week In My Garden" series here on TLRT, please check out
this week's link.  There seems to have been a problem with my original posting of the link,
but that has been corrected and you can now stroll through the garden again!

Hope to see you again soon!

Multi Colored Parrots

This vintage cloth is very versatile and these are a few variations I did in trying out different colors that might work with it.

Quatro (aka Quattra, Quattro, Quatra) Post 86 Fiesta on its own.  The pewter bowl is Mexican.

Post 86 Sapphire

Post 86 Fiesta in Seamist, Sapphire and Scarlet

Post 86 Fiesta in Scarlet.  The glass bowl is from the Lancaster "Cane Landrum" line from the 1930s, named for the caned design in the bottom of the bowl.

Post 86 Fiesta in Seamist and Yellow, the bowl is a vintage HLC salad bowl known as the "Scale Bowl."  It was modeled in April of 1935, is fairly easy to find and comes with a variety of different decals in the center.

Let the Sun Shine In

Early morning sun coming in through the clerestory windows.  Someday I'll learn NOT to put roses with a lot of red in them on tables for pictures.  It totally messes up the way my camera records the scene, nevertheless here's Sapphire, Persimmon, and Quatro. (variously called Quatra, Quatro, Quattra, Quattro)

The roses are a Hybrid Tea called 'Spice Twice' .
