Redeeming Periwinkle

Periwinkle is quite often maligned and scoffed at as an "80s" color. I think in this tablescape it redeems itself and works very well.

  1. What is covering the goblet? It sort of looks like a trivet, but I've not seen it before.

  2. ...and the adorable little sombrero juicer...may I ask where it came from or who it's made by? Is it vintage?

  4. That wonderful vintage table cloth just screams for the periwinkle dishes, and you pulled that table off beautifully! I really love the way it actually sets the stage for the red instead of competing with it.

The little coaster covering thegoblet is a prototype that never went into production and the little juicer is vintage Made In Japan.
