I'm joining Vintage Thingies Thursday again this week over at Coloradolady
If you were here last week for my post about my Tablecloth Keeper, then you can
share the joy of a new find. It was serendipity for sure. The matching Napkin Keeper
came from a completely different source in a different part of the country.
You can read the first chapter of this marriage of two different vintage thingies at
last week's post: Tablecloth Keeper
Smell the roses from my garden ...... Fall roses in California are some of the best!
Thanks so much for dropping by again this week!
Candy...I just love these and since I doubt I'll ever find any, I am going to have to make myself a set :)

A very pretty post for today. The little flower arrangement is simply gorgeous. I have some linens with that same design on them. Naturally, I love yours too.
ReplyDeleteThe napkin keeper was really a lucky find. I have never noticed any tablecloth or napkin keepers.
ReplyDeleteCharming linens and lovely photos!
ReplyDeleteI love all the work that went into making those. I have a handkerchief one similar, would love to find the tablecloth and napkin ones!
ReplyDeleteWow, that is an amazing find. What a great set.
ReplyDeleteThey are so pretty and I love the idea. I have never seen these before.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes,
Natasha.
Beautiful and delicate, what a nice find!
ReplyDeleteHello Candy,
ReplyDeleteI am very pleased to discover your beautiful blog. I very much like the embroidery on your set. Have a lovely weekend.
What a score!!
ReplyDeleteI love your pictures. I used to embroider but gave it up years ago. Thank you for sharing. Doylene
ReplyDeleteHow cool is that! I've never seen any keepers before. Those are truly delightful.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I love the fact they came from different sources. What great finds. Debbie
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone for your lovely comments on these keepers!
ReplyDeleteI think we've all probably passed them up many times when out and about. Seems to me they would get lost in a stack of napkins, doilies, runners etc, unless they were specifically displayed by a shop owner who is familiar with them.
