This vintage tablecloth design by Victory K and B is called "Leaves"
and  also appeared in another colorway for Easter: Royal Rabbits Hold Annual Luncheon

Here it is shown in Red with Black, White and Scarlet Post86 Fiesta.
The striped salad plates, teapot, canister and flatware are from Home Goods.
The stemware is vintage crystal in a very deep burgandy that looks
black except in very bright light.
The roses are 'Iceberg'
The votives came from Michael's.
Cups and saucers are 'Medallion' by Rosenthal.

  20. A really wonderful, wonderful tablescape. I just love the red -- my favorite color. Can you tell me where I might find a red tablecloth like this? I do not have a blog or a profile so anonymous will have to do for my first post. Arlene

  27. Black and White and Red All Over always seems to strike a note with everyone! There is something so dramatic about it and it seems to work for most everyone. :-)

Tricia and others who have questions about storage....check at the top of any page on my blog, right under the header for some prior posts about how I store all my dishes, linens and accessories!

Arlene and others who are looking for vintage tablecloths.....check out your local thrift stores, flea markets, antique malls and of course eBay for literally thousands of vintage tablecloths!

Thank you all for your lovely comments, I do appreciate them and thank you for visiting. Welcome to new visitors too!

And now to those pretty mushrooms hanging out in the floral arrangement. They are meant for the garden just like so many other mushroom designs that have been available over the last few years. I have a number of different designs from garden retailers, big box stores and even Costco! This particular set, which hasn't been in the garden as yet, came from the Kinsman Company. I'm always looking for cute table accessories that were not originally meant for a tablescape, but seem to add that bit of whimsy to my already sometimes unexpected sense of style. :-)

  30. Thanks so much Candy for your response. However, I am not interested in vintage tablecloths in general. I am interested in finding a tablecloth like your red tablecloth. It seems rather tedious to sift through 1000’s of tablecloths as you mention in search of one like this. I was really hoping that you would share with me and your readership where you purchased your tablecloth????

Susan at BNOTP does a WONDERFUL job listing for her followers the details concerning her table accoutrements. So I was really hoping that you would do the same regarding your red tablecloth and now it certainly appears that others, like me, are interested in this specific red tablecloth. Arlene

  31. Thanks ladies, I like it as much today as I did a couple days ago!

Arlene, this particular vintage tablecloth came from eBay ..... and the yellow version of it did too. :-) Chances are another will come up again and I bet there are other colorways too.

  32. Candy, I love the black and red together - the word that comes to mind is "perky"! I'm in love with those mushrooms, too! I have a Kinsman catalog - will have to check it out. I like the coffee pot, too!

  33. Thank you Candy. Does this tablecloth have a name or particular manufacturer that I should look for? Arlene

  34. Arlene -

Neither of mine has its original tag and I'm not aware of the manufacturer from either of the listings on eBay.

Collectors of vintage tablecloths fall into many categories and I'm probably among the most "casual" of collectors. I'm not especially interested in the maker or the original tags being present. I buy what speaks to me design wise and I use ALL of my vintage tablecloths.

Other collectors want their tablecloths in mint condition with original tags, including the paper tags. They have wonderful collections, but my interest in more in the "using" than admiring vein.

    Good luck with your search!

  35. Hi Sue -

Glad you stopped by to check out my RED!

That little pot just makes me smile every time I use it! Looks like an Alice in Wonderland kind of thing to me. :-)
