Production stopped in 1944

7 Sizes, most are numbered on the bottom from 1-7

Because there are only six colors, mixed stacks must contain at least one repeat.

#7 Red - weight is 6+/-  pounds making it the heaviest item in the line.
The #1 weighs a little under a pound +/-
A full stack usually weighs between 20 and 20.5 pounds

Covers were officially produced for Bowls #1-4, although Covers for 5 and 6 have been found.

It seems fitting for St. Patrick's Day coming up in just a few days that I share

some of my vintage American made mixing bowls from the 30s and 40s.
I used to have all my mixing bowls on display in a large pine cabinet before
we moved to this house 3 years ago.  Now I rotate them in and out of
display situations as the mood strikes me.

Here are some of my favorite green bowls, with a nod to St. Patrick and the wearing of the green. This is an old printers' cabinet that I've had for decades. The little drawers held the typeset letters.

In the late afternoon the sun catches the bowls and makes them shine.
