Books From The Little Round Table

I've received a lot of questions about what books I would recommend, so I'm putting together a list to share with all of you.  My first shot at this was to take the "easy" way and just add an Amazon Widget .... but it is proving to be problematic with the AdBlocker extension I run.

So even though this is a page I'm creating on my own, all the links will still lead you to Amazon, which I highly recommend.  These books are all available from other retail sources also.  I've found that a lot of "collector" type books are available as used books in great condition usually. I'll continue to update the list and expand it to other areas of interest, like gardening as I get to them. Please leave a comment if there are broken links that you find!

THE BOOK ON FIESTA - if you buy only one book on Fiesta dinnerware, it should be the definitive tome on this iconic dinnerware.  Put together by collectors about 10 years ago, it has it all! Great images, quality paper, measured line drawings and all the minutia you would ever want to know about Fiesta.  The section on Post86 Fiesta (from 1986 - Present) is obviously out of date by about 10 years. :-)

  1. Candy, thank you for sharing this extensive list of titles on these subjects. This will certainly be helpful as I add some of these to my personal library. Thank you! ~ Sarah

  3. Hey Candy,
Of these titles for Vintage Tablecloths, which would you suggest to start with? I was looking at Collector's Guide to Vintage Tablecloths. Thanks,

  4. Hi Susan -

If I could choose only one, it would be
    Collectors Guite to Vintage Tablecloths
    http://www.amazon.com/Collectors-Guide-Vintage-Tablecloths-Schiffer/dp/0764316168/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1282876461&sr=1-1

    second choice would be
    Colorful Tablecloths
    http://www.amazon.com/Colorful-Tablecloths-1930s-1960s-Threads-Past/dp/0764320734/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1282876766&sr=1-1

I'd go to Barnes/Noble or a local book seller in your area and spend some time looking at the different ones available before purchasing.

    Hope this helps!

    Candy
