The tablecloth is dreamy! I love it and everything about this tea setting...the fireplace is gorgeous and makes an elegant backdrop to your lovely tea table.
Such a pretty tea!! I would definitely keep my pinky crooked at this party! lol! The petticoat tablecloth is beautiful and your roses stunning. Love all of your tea things, too. You have a lovely fireplace, I wish I had been there!! :-)
Oh it is so lovely. The plates are amazing, the cake server is beautiful, the little sugarbowl, the napkins in the pitcher, oh I just think it's all wonderful.
Well, I do declare Ms. Candy, I do think that Ms. Scarlet is lookin' for her petticoat! :) Oh, this is such a beautiful tablecloth and your table setting is beautiful! Your dishes are lovely! You must have a million. Be a sweetie, Shelia :)
Oh my goodness...you really do know how to entertain in style! I love those ruffles but I also love the look of that yummy cake!
Thanks so much for sharing these wonderful pictures and ideas. I love the way you have wrapped the champagne bottle-I might just borrow that idea please!
Oh my word, this is absolutely breathtaking. The table setting is stunning and the fireplace and surrounding area is awesome. What a fabulous setting. I love that tablecloth. That is just gorgeous. Your china, crystal and accessories are all beautiful. Everything is just exquisite. Thanks so much for joining the party. This is lovely. Hugs, Marty
Love the vintage lovelies, the ruffles and white, but I especially love the gorgeous crocheted trim on the napkins. I'm a sucker for crocheted edging and vintage linens. Thanks for sharing.
I was drawing closer to my computer - to look at the mirror! Spectacular! I love the vases - then you drew me to that romantic lovely table cloth...then you set such an inviting table...speechless. love it, Kathy
It's a girly thing I think! It just makes me smile and I love it.....you can be sure I'll be trying to come up with other settings for this totally frivolous tablecloth! And it really is so NOT me, but for some reason I'm just in love with it. :-)
Kathy - I love my mirror soooo much. It came from Horchow's catalog and I bought it a full two years before the new house was completed. It sat in the packing box in my former living room for all that time, so I never got to see it. It was torture, like a Christmas that never came! Loved it just as much when it was finally uncrated and hung by my contractor. So it is not vintage, just a reproduction......but it is sooo me unlike the ruffly tablecloth that I love also.
Keep checking back, my mind is in a whirl as to how I'll make the ruffles work in another setting!
Thanks again for oohing and aahhhhing over my new pretty!
Kathy - I meant to mention something about those vases. I need to do a separate post about them.
I do love a bargain as much as the next person, so these jumped right into my cart! They came from Pier 1 not long ago, on clearance. There are these two on the mantel and another one a bit smaller ...... all three of them $27 total!
Candy, I absolutely LOVE the tablecloth!! Where in the world did you find such a beauty? This table setting is so romantic and beautiful and something I think all of us could do in our own homes for a nice change on, maybe a rainy evening or a cold winter night. Thank you for always sharing your tables, sources, beautiful flowers and ideas with us. I really do appreciate you.
Evening Susan - The tablecloth is the Pom Pom Audrey tablecloth, pretty widely available using a Google search. Here is one source: http://www.laylagrayce.com/Products/Pom-Pom-at-Home-Linens-Audrey-Tablecloth__PPH1.aspx
