    Oh it is so lovely. The plates are amazing, the cake server is beautiful, the little sugarbowl, the napkins in the pitcher, oh I just think it's all wonderful.

    It's a girly thing I think! It just makes me smile and I love it.....you can be sure I'll be trying to come up with other settings for this totally frivolous tablecloth! And it really is so NOT me, but for some reason I'm just in love with it. :-)

    Kathy - I love my mirror soooo much. It came from Horchow's catalog and I bought it a full two years before the new house was completed. It sat in the packing box in my former living room for all that time, so I never got to see it. It was torture, like a Christmas that never came! Loved it just as much when it was finally uncrated and hung by my contractor. So it is not vintage, just a reproduction......but it is sooo me unlike the ruffly tablecloth that I love also.

    Keep checking back, my mind is in a whirl as to how I'll make the ruffles work in another setting!

    Thanks again for oohing and aahhhhing over my new pretty!

    Kathy - I meant to mention something about those vases. I need to do a separate post about them.

    I do love a bargain as much as the next person, so these jumped right into my cart! They came from Pier 1 not long ago, on clearance. There are these two on the mantel and another one a bit smaller ...... all three of them $27 total!

    Candy, I absolutely LOVE the tablecloth!! Where in the world did you find such a beauty? This table setting is so romantic and beautiful and something I think all of us could do in our own homes for a nice change on, maybe a rainy evening or a cold winter night.
